MEDISUN SkinFlex PDT phototherapy lamp is an innovative device for advanced dermatological treatments through photodynamic light therapy (PDT). Available in two variants – M (medical) and LP 100 (cosmetic) – SkinFlex offers effective and safe solutions for a wide range of skin conditions.

Specially designed for use in the medical field, this SkinFlex PDT M phototherapy lamp is ideal for the treatment of chronic skin conditions such as severe acne, rosacea, psoriasis or even certain forms of skin cancer. Advanced technology with precisely selected wavelengths stimulates cell regeneration and relieves inflammation.
SkinFlex M is a multifunctional, modern LED PDT therapy system for the medical treatment of the skin, for example for indoor daylight PDT (ADL-PDT). The exposure is almost painless and very effective. Individually usable wavelength spectra with high intensities are available for many other applications.

SkinFlex M is a multifunctional, modern LED PDT therapy system for the medical treatment of the skin, for example for indoor daylight PDT (ADL-PDT). The exposure is almost painless and very effective. Individually usable wavelength spectra with high intensities are available for many other applications.
The PDT device consists of 5 large LED panels with a total treatment surface of 900 cm², which allows the treatment of large areas.
The LED panels are attached to each other by means of sturdy metal hinges, which allow the exposure to be adapted to the shape of the head, and are attached to an articulated arm that can be easily adjusted to almost any position by means of several axes. The device is mobile and saves space and requires only a standard 230 V socket. A modern computerized control unit with a large touch display that provides maximum operating comfort.
During exposure, no heat is generated on the skin, which patients find very pleasant. The fans are pleasantly quiet. The most important treatment protocols (3 different natural light protocols, classic red light PDT and blue light therapy) are already pre-programmed on the program buttons. However, the individual LED colors (blue 417 nm, yellow 590 nm and red 633 nm) can also be controlled separately if required. This makes operation quick and easy. After switching on, the exposure proceeds automatically, and the camera automatically turns off at the end of the exposure time.

The SkinFlex M system shows very good results for the treatment of actinic keratoses. The exposures are perceived as very pleasant, with almost no pain sensation. As a result, photodynamic therapy with SkinFlex M represents an optimization of daylight (outdoor) PDT and a further development of conventional PDT (cPDT). The advantages are that the therapy can be carried out throughout the year, regardless of the season or weather, the controlled, homogeneous and reproducible dose, the defined spectrum of natural light without UV, the short exposure time and the practically painless application in the doctor's office or clinic , under medical supervision.
